In 2022, TRPC partnered with Thurston County, the City of Olympia, the City of Lacey, and Intercity Transit on the Martin Way Corridor Study. This study affirmed a shared vision for the Martin Way corridor as a more pedestrian-friendly area that supports high-capacity transportation options and high-density urban growth, including access to affordable housing. In support of this vision, the study identified a need for additional crossings along Martin Way.
